Over 11 years ago Kilkeel High School embarked on its shared education journey with St Louis Grammar school as part of a the Queen’s University Shared Education Programme.

Barry Mulholland, Chief Executive of the Controlled Schools’ Support Council (CSSC) has written to the author of ‘Transforming Education: The Governance of Schools Briefing Paper’.

CSSC is pleased to support the Community Relations Council’s Good Relations Week 2020 which takes place from Monday 14 September and will run through until Monday 21 September.

Ballyclare High School pupils have been awarded GCSE results to be proud of once again.

Abbey Community College students excelled once again on GCSE results Day. They were the founding Year 8’s when Abbey Community College opened in September 2015.

Portadown College students have secured a superb set of results at GCSE. Across an outstanding GCSE profile, an impressive 51% of all grades awarded were at A*- A, with 82% of grades at A*- B. 

Glenveagh School says smiles are the best indicator of a good day. Whether it is from having fun in the playground with friends, intensive interaction with staff or an enjoyable lesson. A smile at the end of the day lets the staff know that the pupils, while learning are having fun and most importantly going home happy.

All schools were faced with the need to adapt quickly to new pedagogies when schools were closed for the majority of pupils on 20 March 2020 due to the global pandemic.

Dunclug College is delighted for their students who have achieved success at both A Level and GCSE.
