CSSC is highlighting case studies showcasing shared education across the controlled sector.

The case studies were part of a CSSC shared education report, Learning from each other – sharing in education’, providing a snapshot of shared education practice across the controlled sector and the excellent partnerships that exist. This report showcases the actions some schools have taken to develop shared education projects, as well as exploring the benefits, challenges and pitfalls.

Below find five case studies depicting shared education projects:

Edenderry Nursery School case study

Kilkeel High School case study

Moy Regional Primary School casestudy

As part of the week’s celebration there is a virtual showcase of over 150 online events and digital content that celebrates 30 years of peace building and cultural diversity.

The virtual programme includes online workshops, zoom lectures, online panel discussions, podcasts, digital storytelling and virtual exhibitions.

There is lots on offer to interest schools, from drama to exhibitions and cultural performances to youth activities to include storytelling with Liz Weir and friends.

Get involved and keep updated, follow @CSSC_NI and @NI_CRC on Twitter using #GRW2020 to support the celebrations or view the programme on the Good Relations Week website.
