Win for Killicomaine JHS in inaugural Danske Bank High School shield

27 March 2018

Killicomaine Junior High School won the inaugural Under 14 High Schools’ Shield  at Queens University playing fields, defeating Dromore High School in a fast paced competitive match. This year, the competition has taken a new format, moving away from a one-day ‘blitz’ style tournament, to 50-minute group stage matches, semi-finals and a final played on a finals day.

Increase in education budget substantially short in meeting school needs
