CSSC Schools' Support Officers have successfully applied for and worked with member schools on successful applications for funding for various projects

Current funding opportunities

Edina Trust have funding of £600 per year towards a science project, adding up to £1,800 over the three-year scheme for primary schools based in Fermanagh, Omagh, Newry, Mourne and Down. 

Edina Trust have an opportunity for a one off grant of £420 towards a science project for nursery schools based in Fermanagh, Omagh, Newry, Mourne and Down. 

Prefilled application forms are available for the following.

  • Electricity magnetism 
  • Human Body and Forensics
  • Data Loggers
  • STEM Day in a Box... and Beyond

The Wolfson Foundation supports high-achieving state-funded secondary schools and sixth form colleges to improve the teaching of science, computer science, design & technology, art, languages, music and performing arts at GCSE and A-Level. Grants are generally awarded towards new builds, refurbishment and technical equipment. The project must cost at least £15,000. Find out more Find out more about The Wolfson Foundation here.
