Are you a controlled school? Do you need guidance and information in relation to area planning?

The Controlled Schools’ Support Council (CSSC) congratulates all pupils across Northern Ireland on GCSE results day, 25 August. 

Year 14 students at Abbey Community College celebrated academic excellence with some outstanding individual performances across a wide variety of academic and vocational courses.

Pupils and staff at Ballyclare High School celebrated their A level results on 18 August.

Congratulations to Banbridge Academy students who have excelled in their A Levels.

A new cohort of controlled schools are participating in the current CSSC #ErasmusPlusUK programme attended a recent event held at Stranmillis University College.

As we come to the end of this academic year, CSSC wishes to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all controlled school Governors, Principals and staff for their commitment and dedication.

The controlled sector is the largest education sector accounting for 49% of all Northern Ireland’s schools, including 63 nursery schools, 380 primary schools and 69 post primary schools. Controlled schools are open to all faiths and none which brings a rich diversity and inclusive ethos.
