Mark Baker, Chief Executive, CSSC commented,

“I would like to take this opportunity to commend pupils on their commitment to learning and to recognise all their achievements in both their primary and post primary schools.”

I would also wish to recognise the hard work and professionalism of all staff in controlled schools who have supported these young people towards realising their aspirations. We wish all our young people well as they take their next steps, whether they choose to continue to study or to enter the workplace.”

The controlled sector in Northern Ireland includes nursery, special, primary, secondary, grammar, integrated & Irish-medium schools. Controlled schools are open to all, welcoming children and young people of all faiths and none, richly diverse and inclusive, reflective of and embedded in the communities they serve.
