The Controlled Schools’ Support Council (CSSC) is delighted to announce Assistance Dogs Northern Ireland (ADNI) as its charity partner for 2019-2020.

What a fantastic achievement for the year eight and nine girls of Tandragee Junior High School who lifted the Northern Ireland Futsal Cup at Antrim Forum on Wednesday 20 November.

Congratulations to Glenlola Collegiate, Ballyclare High school and Banbridge Academy for reaching the final stage of the Northern Ireland Bar Mock Trials competition. Three out of the four successful finalists represent the controlled sector. 

Congratulations to Banbridge Academy pupil Joseph Garvey who has successfully progressed through two stages of the Rotary Youth Leadership competition.

Pupils and staff from Enniskillen Model Primary School recently welcomed officials and special guests for a ceremonial sod-cutting at the school site to mark the start of work on a new two-storey building.

The CSSC Erasmus+ funded programme to Finland and Estonia took place 2-9 November 2019 as part of the organisation’s Building Capacity programme.

As part of the Roe Valley Learning Community, pupils from all local post-primary schools had the opportunity to listen to international rugby referee Nigel Owens MBE. 

Congratulations to Fountain Primary School, recently recognised as a ‘School of Sanctuary’.
