Schools once again find themselves teaching remotely. Pupils are learning from home, and along with their teachers are getting to grips with more new technology, upskilling in ICT, and in operating and keeping track of Google Classroom notifications etc.

The PE Department in Banbridge Academy understands the fun and importance of physical education.

What is the Diana Award?

The Diana Award is a prestigious accolade that a young person can receive for their social action or humanitarian work. Young people do not work towards the award, rather they demonstrate their suitability through their actions, without any expectation of reward.

Congratulations to the Queen’s New Year Honours list of award recipients for 2021. Honours are given to people from all walks of life and all sections of society who have made a difference to their community.

A bespoke Men’s Mental Health Awareness event was recently staged at Havelock Park by Banbridge Academy. The boys had an opportunity to talk about the importance of mental health as well as their physical health. 

Ballyclare High School instrumentalists Amy Blackbourne, Sebastian Kidd and Emily Shiels have been selected from applicants from across the UK as members of the National Youth Concert Band for 2021.
