Tandragee Junior High School’s dancing skills on display
As part of Valentine's Day Celebrations, Tandragee Junior High School held a ‘Healthy Hearts’ fundraiser in support of Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke.
Pupils and staff uploaded videos of them mastering the popular ‘Tik Tok’ Jerusalema dance routine. Staff shared in a virtual collective dance routine, raising a total sum of over £800.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr Brown, Principal, Tandragree Junior High School praised the efforts of pupils, staff and the school community stating,
“Each year we hold an annual "Red Day" fundraiser. We were keen to explore how this might be achieved given restrictions this year and are delighted with the response from our pupils, staff and families who have participated readily with our virtual challenge. We have been able to promote a healthy heart message and contribute to a very worthy cause.”
Enjoy the video depicting the dancing talents of Tandragree High School’s staff and pupils, well done to all!
