Year 8 pupil at Fleming Fulton School, Zoe was delighted to be awarded a Blue Peter ‘blue’ and ‘green’ badge.

Ballycastle High School and Cross and Passion College have gained planning approval from Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council for a Ballycastle Shared Education Campus.

The 2021 Royal Institution (RI) Science in Schools grant scheme is now open. The RI Science in Schools UK wide grants are awarded annually, offering free visits from professional presenters worth £800.

Controlled nursery schools and primary schools came together on the afternoon of Wednesday 9 June to demonstrate how their settings have facilitated playful learning opportunities for their children during the current pandemic.

Robin McLoughlin, Principal, Banbridge Academy and one of CSSC’s first Council members is among those in controlled education recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list. Honours are given to people from all walks of life and all sections of society who have made a difference to their community.
