Class of 2021 receive A Level results

As A level results are released to pupils from across Northern Ireland, CSSC Chief Executive Mark Baker today, Tuesday 10 August, said,

CSSC and Education Minister Michelle McIlveen at Regent House School A level results day 2021

“2021 results day is the second year with a difference presenting a time of apprehension for pupils and families receiving results.

“I would like to acknowledge the dedication and diligence of all the pupils in their final school years leading up to completion of their post primary education. The continuing pandemic has made this a difficult time for all pupils, particularly those at key points of transition. I congratulate them on their achievements during their school life.

"I would also wish to recognise the hard work and professionalism of all the educators in controlled schoolsSupporting pupils throughout the assessment process in the most unusual of circumstances is challenging and has added extra pressures.

“The ethos of controlled schools, the largest, most diverse education sector in Northern Ireland, consistently promotes the moral, spiritual, intellectual, social and personal development of pupils. These life skills develop confidence and resilience in pupils. I extend my best wishes to all pupils receiving results and wish them well in their next steps, whether it is a choice to continue to study at university or college or embark on their career in the workplace.”
