Shared education highlighted as part of Good Relations Week 2021

Good Relations Week is an opportunity for the controlled school sector to highlight shared education partnerships alongside other community relations activities.

Good Relations Week 2021 shared education partnerships

Shared education partnerships provide the opportunity for pupils from different backgrounds to come together, forging new friendships, experiences and a broader range of learning opportunities.

Good Relations Week showcases cross-community and multi-cultural arts, history, music and discussions. The programme will run from Monday 20 to Sunday 26 September 2021.

The theme for this year’s showcase is ’Brighter Days Ahead’, celebrating and shining a light on the peacebuilding and cultural diversity endeavours of young people, while exploring the challenges they are currently facing.

This year’s programme will be a blend of face-to-face events, virtual showcases and digital content, such as workshops, lectures, discussion panels, music, performance and more.

CSSC encourage schools to get involved by hosting an event or creating an online showcase to demonstrate the spirit of good community relations in 2021.

Get involved now by promoting Good Relations Week within your school to all staff, pupils and parents, attend an event or organise your own event.
