All schools were faced with the need to adapt quickly to new pedagogies when schools were closed for the majority of pupils on 20 March 2020 due to the global pandemic.

Glenveagh School says smiles are the best indicator of a good day. Whether it is from having fun in the playground with friends, intensive interaction with staff or an enjoyable lesson. A smile at the end of the day lets the staff know that the pupils, while learning are having fun and most importantly going home happy.

This week Robin McLoughlin, Principal, Banbridge Academy, welcomed pupils back to school for the start of the new academic year, acknowledging it had been an extremely challenging time for young people across Northern Ireland.

Once again, Ashfield Girls’ High School is celebrating fantastic GCSE results achieved by its pupils.

Abbey Community College students excelled once again on GCSE results Day. They were the founding Year 8’s when Abbey Community College opened in September 2015.

Portadown College students have secured a superb set of results at GCSE. Across an outstanding GCSE profile, an impressive 51% of all grades awarded were at A*- A, with 82% of grades at A*- B. 

Ballyclare High School pupils have been awarded GCSE results to be proud of once again.
