    Controlled school leaders from across Northern Ireland have come together as part of an event focusing on building resilience.

  7. Ballyclare High School taking a mindful approach

    Ballyclare High School is one of two schools in Northern Ireland that are involved in the Myriad trial funded by The Wellcome Trust. This trial involves a total of 84 schools across UK.

  8. Craigavon Senior High School rugby team does the double

    Craigavon Senior High School has secured the ‘double’ for the first time in the school’s history, notching up a resounding win against Ballyclare Secondary School in the Danske Bank Ulster U16 High Schools Trophy Final Thursday 14 March at the Kingspan Stadium, home of Ulster Rugby.

    Local maths teachers joined us to develop new skills, reflect on practice, network with local and international colleagues and build confidence and capacity for the year ahead. 

  10. Exceptional pastoral care rewarded at two controlled schools

    Carrickmannon Primary School, Ballygowan and Knockavoe School, Strabane have been recognised for their exceptional pastoral care at an awards ceremony hosted by the Department of Education and the Public Health Agency (PHA) at Stormont.
