    Craigavon Senior High School has secured the ‘double’ for the first time in the school’s history, notching up a resounding win against Ballyclare Secondary School in the Danske Bank Ulster U16 High Schools Trophy Final Thursday 14 March at the Kingspan Stadium, home of Ulster Rugby.

  6. Focus on attainment: Markethill High School

    CSSC's recent report, 'Attainment and performance in the controlled sector’, explores patterns of attainment in Northern Ireland’s largest school sector.     CSSC Award for Excellence in Educational Research 2021- The Daily Mile

    The Controlled Schools’ Support Council (CSSC) provides professional learning and development opportunities for staff in controlled schools, and assists schools to raise standards of achievement. CSSC provides learning and development opportunities in collaboration with the Education Authority.

    Through participation in area planning, CSSC represents the interests of both the controlled sector as a whole and individual controlled schools.  

    CSSC supports controlled schools by working in collaboration with education partners to identify innovative, creative and shared education solutions to provide sustainable school provision.

  8. Diversity and inclusivity showcased in controlled schools’ report

    The Controlled Schools’ Support Council has today, Thursday 11 April, released its latest analysis of the controlled education sector.

    Focusing on SEN in the early years, over 40 nursery school leaders attended this TPL seminar.

  10. Growing leaders and building capacity

    Special school Principals participated in taster sessions that enabled them to reflect on their development as a leader.
