Mark Baker, Chief Executive, Controlled Schools’ Support Council (CSSC) and Michele Corkey, Director of Education, Education Authority (EA) recently visited Lisneal College.

As the new school term commences Education Minister, Michelle McIlveen and Mark Baker, Chief Executive, Controlled Schools’ Support Council (CSSC) visited Dundonald Primary School. They were welcomed by Principal, Julian Byers.

Good Relations Week is an opportunity for the controlled school sector to highlight shared education partnerships alongside other community relations activities.

CSSC is seeking to elect a new Council to represent its member schools, for a period of four years.

Mark Baker, Chief Executive, CSSC extends congratulations today, 12 August to pupils across Northern Ireland on GCSE results day. 

As A level results are released to pupils from across Northern Ireland, CSSC Chief Executive Mark Baker today, Tuesday 10 August, said,

The Taking Boys Seriously project, led by Ulster University, seeks to proactively engage with young men, schools and youth groups to increase attainment and levels of higher education participation among young males. 

Mark Baker, Chief Executive, Controlled Schools’ Support Council (CSSC) met Darren Mornin, Principal, Limavady High School on 30 July 2021.

The staff, parents and pupils at Culmore Primary School were absolutely delighted to achieve first place in Northern Ireland for The Sustrans Big Pedal One-day Challenge.
