    Abbey Community College students have excelled themselves once again on GCSE results day. The upward trend in overall results has continued again this year, with a staggering 96% of the Year 12 students achieving the all important, 5+A*- C grades.

    Once again GCSE students at Ballyclare High have done exceptionally well. This year all pupils have been examined in new courses and grade boundaries have been recalibrated across the province with the award of fewer top grades. Despite that, pupils have maintained the consistently high standards.

    The Controlled Schools’ Support Council (CSSC) and Education Authority (EA) have today, Monday 14 May 2018, affirmed their collaborative approach to partnership working by publishing a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
