Embedding Ethos will allow staff to reflect on how: -

• how they contribute to the school ethos on an individual basis and
• how the the school’s core values contribute to the ethos and vision and
• provide the opportunity to evaluate whole school implementation of the mission statement.

Governors and Improvement explores how a strong school ethos underpins effective school improvement. 

Building Capacity is a year-long professional learning programme designed to support senior leaders in addressing a key strategic priority from their School Development Plan, with a clear focus on improving classroom practice. Using an action research model, participants will lead change that directly enhances learning and teaching.

Systemic Team Coaching is a coaching programme delivered in a Systemic Team approach over an 18 to 24 month period. The programme aims to develop more cohesive, strategic thinking and an effective Senior Leadership Team. Planned diagnostic assessment points and opportunities for critical reflective thinking will be embedded throughout the programme. 

CSSC’s Trauma‑Informed Approaches supports schools to understand the prevalence and impact of adversity and trauma on children and young people’s development and wellbeing. The workshop’s content aligns with the Safeguarding Board for Northern Ireland’s promotion of key trauma‑informed principles and explores how relational approaches to supporting children and young people can contribute to a positive school ethos characterised by safety and inclusion. 

Team Building examines the impact of an effective team in fostering a positive school ethos. It explores the key qualities, values, and behaviours that contribute to successful teamwork, alongside reflections on the role each individual plays in ensuring the team functions effectively and drives continuous school improvement.
