CSSC will be delivering a series of news stories on schools while they operate in varied and exceptional circumstances.

EA has developed this resource to support staff health and wellbeing during this time of uncertainty.

The Controlled Schools’ Support Council (CSSC) is working closely with colleagues from the Education Authority, the Education and Training Inspectorate and the Council for Catholic Maintained Schools in the C-19 Cross Organisational Team set up to provide support to school leaders as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Both the Department of Education (DE) and Education Authority (EA) are providing and continually updating COVID-19 guidance and FAQ responses.

CSSC continues to work in collaboration with other educational partners to ensure a single focus on COVID-19 and a coordinated approach to school support.

On Saturday 8 February 2020, Year 13 students from Antrim Grammar School (AGS) organised and ran a community Pop Up Restaurant. It was the first of its kind in Northern Ireland within a school setting!
