The programme provides a range of opportunities for young people, aged 11 to 19 across Northern Ireland, to come together to build positive relationships across what have become divided parts of our community.

On Friday 23 August Magherafelt High School (MHS) PE Department welcomed the start of a new joint schools programme with St Pius X using T:BUC funding.

Pupils and staff underwent training provided by Peace Players Northern Ireland in conjunction with Ulster Badminton.

The training consisted of two courses, one was Footwork to Music and the other Shuttle Time.  Both pupils and staff found the courses extremely useful and the training will allow them to gain qualifications to coach badminton.

Funding will be available for applications in 2018/19 and any school considering making an application will be facilitated in availing of this opportunity by the CSSC, Contact your school support officer for more information on funding opportunities through T:BUC
