Seaview shortlisted for a TESSA
Seaview Primary School and Nursery Unit in north Belfast has been shortlisted for a TES Schools Award for the Innovative Use of Technology to Improve Outcomes.
The school has won several previous awards, including the Capita ICT Excellence Awards. Principal, Mrs C Latham noted her delight on making the shortlist.
The school has been developing the use of ICT for the past three years and I am thrilled to see that the hard work of staff has been recognised on a national level.
It is a huge achievement to make the TES shortlist and we look forward to attending the prestigious awards ceremony in London in late June.
TES Editor Ann Mroz said
It is wonderful to see such innovative ideas and best practice emerging from schools such as Seaview despite the current squeeze on funding.
