“With this set of results and the highest Year 11 intake we have had for several years joining us in September, it is a further indication of the continued improvement of the school”, said Principal Ruth Harkness.

“We are delighted with this set of results which is reflective of the progress the school has made over the last year.”

Craigavon Senior High School has increased the percentage of pupils achieving at least five A* to C grades or equivalent by 21%.  At the same time those achieving five or more A*- C grades including English and Maths have increased by 9%.

There have been increases in grades achieved in virtually every subject area in the school.  Such stunning progress is only possible through the hard work, commitment and dedication of pupils, parents and staff.

Ruth Harkness continued,

“We are delighted to see our Year 12 pupils rewarded for their efforts with fantastic grades. Our pupils worked incredibly hard and displayed a positive determination towards their studies and were supported superbly by our team of committed and talented teachers.

“We are so pleased that so many pupils achieved the grades they were hoping for and I congratulate them all on their achievements today and we wish them every success for the future.”
