Limavady Grammar staff raise over £13K for charity

Limavady Grammar staff recently engaged in a keep fit challenge to raise money for charity.  This helped raise staff morale, stay healthy and keep positive.

LGS Staff Challenge 2021

Challenges undertaken included running 50 miles in the month, running or walking up to 30 or 50 miles and cycling for 300 miles.

Over £13,000 was raised and this money will be distributed between the following charities:

  • Anthony Nolan Trust
  • Breast Cancer Now
  • Cancer Research UK
  • Foyle Down Syndrome Trust
  • Prostate Cancer UK and
  • SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity)

Nicola Madden, Principal, Limavady Grammar School, commented,

“This has been a fantastic team effort. This lifted everybody’s spirits and the money raised will go to very worthwhile causes.”
