Exam results day 2025
The Controlled Schools' Support Council (CSSC) acknowledges the hard work of pupils across Northern Ireland on exam results day, 14 August.
Mark Baker, Chief Executive, CSSC commented:
"I commend all pupils in controlled schools on their dedication and hard work. Today marks a significant milestone in their educational journey. As they begin the next chapter of their lives, I wish them every success whether they choose further education or employment.
"I would also like to express my gratitude to all staff in controlled schools for their exceptional commitment in supporting our young people to reach their full potential. The unwavering dedication of teachers has been instrumental in guiding these students through their primary and secondary education.”
The controlled education sector is Northern Ireland's largest, most diverse education sector, comprising 49% of all schools across all phases: nursery, special, primary, secondary, grammar, integrated and Irish-medium schools.
