Engaging with sign – a language for you and me

Margaret-Anne Christie has written about her experience of taking part in the Engaging with sign – a language for you and me programme in the British Association of Teachers of the Deaf Magazine (BATOD).

Margaret-Anne is a Qualified Teacher of the Deaf (QToD) teaches Foundation and Key Stage 1 at a Hearing Impaired Unit at Cregagh Primary School, Belfast.  There are two Hearing Impaired Units at Cregagh Primary School and both took part in the programme.
