CSSC Research Winner Addresses Critical Pastoral Care Gap

Adam Willis, currently on secondment from Hardy Memorial Primary School, a controlled school located in Richill, has been recognised with the Controlled Schools' Support Council (CSSC) Excellence in Educational Research Award 2025 for his ground breaking study on pastoral care in Northern Ireland primary schools.

This evidence-based research aligns strongly with priorities outlined in the TransformED NI strategy, which emphasises becoming an evidence-informed education system. The findings also support objectives identified in the Education Minister’s Taskforce Report addressing educational challenges through robust research and evaluation.
