CSSC is encouraging controlled schools across Northern Ireland to get involved with Anti-Bullying Week 2017.
Launched today, 13 November 2017, Anti-Bullying Week is coordinated by the Northern Ireland Anti-Bullying Forum (NIABF) and takes place from 13-17 November.
As a member of NIABF, CSSC School Support Donna O’Connor said
The theme of Anti-Bullying week 2017 is ‘All Equal, All Different, All Together’. It encourages inclusivity, acceptance and respect of all children and young people.
CSSC is encouraging schools and young people to get involved in Anti-Bullying week and to celebrate the differences that make each child unique.
NIABF have designed resources to help stimulate conversation and debate and to empower children to recognise and understand bullying.
NIABF brings together 25 regional statutory and voluntary sector organisations, all acting together to end bullying of children and young people in our schools and in our communities.
NIABF is hosted by the National Children’s Bureau (NCB) and funded by the Department of Education.
