CSSC congratulates Queen’s Birthday 2021 Honours recipients

Robin McLoughlin, Principal, Banbridge Academy and one of CSSC’s first Council members is among those in controlled education recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list. Honours are given to people from all walks of life and all sections of society who have made a difference to their community.

‘We extend our congratulations to all the recipients in the Queen’s Birthday Honours who have worked in or contributed to controlled education including Robin McLoughlin who was one of CSSC’s first Council members and has been awarded an OBE for services to Education.’

Recipients include:

  • Mr Robin McLoughlin, Principal, Banbridge Academy who has been awarded an OBE for services to Education
  • Mrs Jennifer Campbell, former Principal, DH Christie Memorial Primary School, Coleraine who has been awarded an MBE for services to Education, Young People and the community.
  • Mrs Marian McCouaig, Principal, Kylemore Nursery School, Coleraine who has been awarded an MBE for services to Education.
  • Mrs Rhonda Moles, Principal, Cumran Primary School, Clough who has been awarded an MBE for services to Education.
  • Miss Sarah Thompson, Nursery School Teacher Orritor Nursery School, Cookstown who has been awarded an MBE for services to Pre-School Education and Children in Beavers.
