Jessica McCullough (Year 8) was awarded the top place out of the 82 entries received from controlled schools across Northern Ireland.

Her drawing of Joseph, Mary and the Baby Jesus will be used this year as the official Christmas card for CSSC.

Many congratulations to Jessica who has created a wonderful card portraying the true meaning of Christmas.

The judging panel had a difficult time choosing their winners.  After much deliberation, the entries from Rachel Mealiff of Strabane Academy and Charlie Wallis of Killicomaine Junior High School were announced as the runners-up.

Sara McCracken, CSSC Head of Marketing, Research and Communications, commented:

“The entries we received were, according to the judging panel comprising members of Council, of an exceptionally high standard.

“I would like to thank the teachers for encouraging their pupils to take part, and to thank all of the Key Stage 3 controlled school pupils who took the time and made such great effort to create the amazing designs and send them in to us.”

The winning entrants received printed Christmas cards featuring their own design plus a framed print.
