Controlled schools celebrate strong GCSE performance
Controlled schools across Northern Ireland are today, Thursday 24 August, celebrating a strong GCSE performance by pupils.
CSSC Chief Executive Barry Mulholland commended pupils and teachers at controlled schools for their hard work.
I would like to congratulate the pupils on their achievements. Their diligence and determination has been rewarded and I wish them every success for the future.
I also wish to recognise the commitment and support of the teachers and Principals who have played a key role in ensuring pupils have achieved these successful results.
Controlled schools provide a wide range of educational pathways and opportunities for over 140,000 pupils to ensure they have the skills they will need for the future.
