Barry Mulholland, Chief Executive, CSSC commented,

“The wait this year for GCSE results has resulted in a lot more anxiety for pupils. It has been a unique and unprecedented time for all pupils receiving predicted grades today.

“There are countless options available for pupils, depending on their intended journey. This may include continuing on at school or college, transferring to further education institutions or entering the world of work.

“The dedication of Principals, teachers and all school staff in supporting and guiding their pupils through these most unusual circumstances is to be commended and congratulated. This support is central to their success and will empower this cohort to reach their true potential.

“We wish the GCSE class of 2020 good luck for all future endeavours.”
