Best GCSE results for Portadown College in over a decade!

Across an outstanding profile of GCSE outcomes, a magnificent 99% of all students achieved seven or more grades at A* - C, including English and Mathematics.  Most impressively, this has been a bumper year for A* - A grades at an amazing 48%, whilst just over three-quarters of all grades awarded are an excellent A* - B. 

In particular, two of our students, Cassia Herron and Ellen Wilson, achieved exceptional results, celebrating 10 A* grades each.  An additional 29 students attained an outstanding profile of 10 A*/A grades apiece.

The College community is absolutely delighted with all our young people for securing such praiseworthy individual outcomes, a richly deserved testament to their industry, resilience and commitment.  Vice Principals Gillian Gibb and Peter Richardson also extended sincere gratitude to PC’s dedicated teaching and support staff, alongside the unstinting encouragement provided by parents and carers, for contributing to such successful outcomes.

Collectively, our young people should be especially proud of their personal achievements which see them exceptionally well prepared for the next stage of their educational journey.
