A-level success for controlled school pupils

Barry Mulholland, Chief Executive of CSSC, has today, Thursday 17 August, praised the A-level exam success of pupils at controlled schools across Northern Ireland.

The young people who have received their A-level results today should be very proud of themselves.

Their hard work and dedication has once again paid off; they can now reap the rewards of it and celebrate.

The teaching staff should also be very proud. The diverse curriculum which is offered alongside the non-academic programmes has ensured these young people are well prepared for the next stage in their lives.

I know that school principals will be justifiably proud of both their pupils and staff.  The commitment of controlled schools to ensuring students achieve their full potential and high educational outcomes is evident, despite the challenging times facing the controlled sector.
