As schools across Northern Ireland prepared for another week of remote learning, Dunclug Primary School created a fun video to encourage the school community.
The PE Department in Banbridge Academy understands the fun and importance of physical education.
Schools once again find themselves teaching remotely. Pupils are learning from home, and along with their teachers are getting to grips with more new technology, upskilling in ICT, and in operating and keeping track of Google Classroom notifications etc.

CSSC believes that international learning opportunities are of great benefit to our controlled schools. To date we have been successful in grant applications for an Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership and Erasmus+ Mobilities.
The Erasmus+ Mobilities are an integral part of the CSSC Building Capacity Programme that looks at school improvement.

Congratulations to Lucy McGonigle, Year 10 at Regent House, who won the Teens aged 13-14 Crossfit Trials Final which took place in January.
Bangor Academy’s Year 8 pupils had lots of fun making and decorating clay pinch pots. This was part of the ‘Save Our Seas’ art curriculum unit focusing on reducing plastic pollution in the oceans.
The Controlled Schools Support Council recently launched a Scholarship scheme for leaders of non-selective controlled post primary schools towards the ‘Excellence in Leadership’ programme, through the Chartered College of Teachers.
