Harvey Donnelly, a 4th year student at Wellington College has won the overall Northern Ireland award at the 2018 BT Young Scientist and Technology exhibition.

The Controlled Schools’ Support Council (CSSC) has been awarded over €140,000 to lead a project which focuses on teaching problem-solving in technology rich environments, it was announced on Tuesday 9 January 2018. 

The body representing nearly half of all Northern Ireland’s schools has today, Thursday, 21 December 2017, raised its concerns over proposals for education contained in the Department of Finance Briefing on Northern Ireland budgetary outlook 2018-20.
