As part of their topics within ‘In the News’ pupils learnt about World War Two and more recently Titanic.

Head of Year 7, Mr R. Ewart commented,

“The teachers in Strandtown Primary School were delighted with both the variety and quality of work being posted on pupils’ class dojo pages! Pupils and parents had been very engaged in their learning during this time making use of the local history around Titanic Quarter in Belfast!

“Pupils kept busy researching, making iMovies, making 3D models, creating cakes and buns with a Titanic theme as well as carrying out STEM research on icebergs melting in different types of liquids.”

The photographs will give an insight into the pupil’s innovative projects, whilst the videos display the technical talents and learning of year 7 pupils which is very impressive.
