The consultation document presents the Department’s preferred course of action and invites comment from stakeholders. The consultation also invites stakeholders to comment on the potential opportunities or risks of standardising pre-school education session times. Link to the Department of Education consultation review of the pre-school statutory admissions’ socially disadvantaged circumstances criterion

CSSC would like to acknowledge and pay tribute to the tremendous work that our nursery schools and units have undertaken to ensure that the needs of all children are met during what has been a very difficult year for all.

Our Marketing Research and Communications team would also be delighted to hear more about your schools’ triumphs and successes and support you in raising the profile of your school. To share this information with us please contact your School Support Officer.

The Nursery Sector is ably represented on CSSC’s Board of Directors by an experienced Nursery Principal, Grace Trimble who is the Principal of Kilkeel Nursery School. Grace welcomes your contact and can be reached at grace.trimble@csscni.org.uk
