The Controlled Schools’ Support Council (CSSC) is a Data Controller under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) for the personal data it collects and processes relating to participants in the Erasmus+ mobilities to various EU countries.
Module One uses diagnostic tools to explore styles and characteristics of leadership. Consideration is given to the concept of Emotional Intelligence and how self-awareness can facilitate personal development.
CSSC has developed this training opportunity to give Governors of controlled schools the opportunity to consider and reflect on the importance of ethos and the role they have as governors in developing ethos in our controlled schools. Module Three explores effective practice for schools to communicate school messages, including ethos, through the world of digital communication, social media and online platforms.

Half day learning event to be held in March 2019.
CSSC recognises the critical importance of middle managers in the school improvement agenda. This event will explore how middle managers such as literacy or numeracy coordinators, heads of departments, and key stage coordinators can get the best out of their team.
Module Two examines the role of the Principal in building effective and meaningful relationships across a range of stakeholders. Participants will explore how to build rapport, establish trust, listen actively and manage conflict.
