Saintfield High School skills for success

The programme delivered almost in its entirety by teachers within the school, a real testament to the dedication of staff at the school and their commitment to the pupils.

Sessions delivered include workshop from Driving Test Theory component, Cooking for Life to Level 1 Sports Leadership Qualification and Programming and Coding.

The main objectives of the Enrichment Programme are to promote the skills needed for everyday life, to nurture the ‘soft skills’ that employers look for, while also giving the pupils the opportunity to find out more about their interests and passions. Developing the students’ social, moral, spiritual and intellectual, social and personal development strengths which will allow them to succeed in every aspect of their lives to include education, work and society. The Enrichment Programme exemplifies the ethos at the core of Saintfield High School.

Miss Hynds, Principal, Saintfield High School added,

“We know that this will be an invaluable platform for all of our boys and girls to learn a variety of new skills, but also to develop and enhance their resilience, confidence and independence. With the loss of so much face-to-face teaching time this year, we know that our children are craving continued engagement with their teachers.”
