Look after your mental health
Mental Health Awareness Week 2020 coincides with a time of heightened anxiety for everyone. In controlled schools Governors, Principals, teaching and non-teaching staff are adjusting to and navigating an educational landscape no one would have envisaged a relatively short time ago due to COVID-19.
It’s understandable that school leaders may feel overwhelmed or isolated as they are responsible for leading and supporting others during what is likely to be one of the most stressful times in their career.
School leaders need to be aware of the importance of managing their own health and well-being now more than ever.
