First day excitement at Limavady High School

It was clear Year 8 pupils were excited to enter a much bigger school than they left back in March, for the beginning of their Limavady High School journey.

The staff were delighted to see new pupils filling the classrooms once again. The Year 8's settled well into their new routines and are clearly inspired about the year ahead.

After attending school for her first full week, Annie, Year 8, said,

“It was scary to start even though I was so excited but it really just feels like normal now and I'm so glad I'm here.''

Mrs Julie Craig, Science Teacher and PR Officer, said,

“We are really proud of how well our Year 8 pupils have settled into school life so far. We know they will be great ambassadors for our school in the years ahead. We’re so glad they have joined the Limavady High School family!
