Ditch the Dark Day

They were joined by the First Minster Mrs Arlene Foster and Education Minister Mr Peter Weir. On arrival the Minsters were greeted by brightly dressed pupils to raise awareness of road safety.

The Ministers met pupils who had been voted by their peers as the best dressed from their classes and presented them with prizes for their efforts in dressing up.

Pupils shared what they had learned about Ditch the Dark, both Ministers agreed it was just what they needed a bit of brightness in their week!

Mr Weir was presented with a piece of Viking Art work by a Primary 7 pupil.
