Design a Christmas card competition

Now that Halloween is over, we’re looking forward to Christmas!

Christmas Card CSSC Winner with Barry Mulholland

To help celebrate, we are inviting Foundation Stage pupils from controlled primary schools to design a Christmas themed greetings card.

We would like to ask pupils to create a card that reflects the meaning of Christmas, which CSSC can use as an online Christmas card.

Entries will be judged by members of the governing Council and senior management team of CSSC.

Please send your entries via email to info@csscni.org.uk by 5pm on Monday 16 November 2020. You should include the name of the school, name of the pupil or class that has designed each individual card, and your contact details. Do note that we will need the winning original cards for printing.

There will be prizes for first, second and third place, with the winning cards printed in time for the festive season. Prize winners will receive copies for their school, family and friends.

Process and photography tips:

·        Draw on an A4 sheet (for scanning purposes and please don’t use glitter).

·        Teachers/Parents/Guardians please photograph the artwork on their phones at the highest setting possible.

·        Try to take as square on as possible filling the frame without cutting any edges off the artwork, ensure the lighting is bright.

·        Please be careful if using flash as it may have detrimental impact on picture quality.

Please do not hesitate to contact Arlene McPhillips, Head of Marketing, Research and Communications on 07734 903944 or email arlene.mcphillips@csscni.org.uk if you have any further queries regarding the competition.
