CSSC in conversation with Carla Lockhart, DUP
Carla Lockhart, MP for Upper Bann met with Barry Mulholland CEO of the Controlled Schools’ Support Council (CSSC) on Monday 3 February to discuss the challenges facing controlled schools and the wider education system in Northern Ireland.
CSSC works to ensure controlled schools views are represented at all levels of government including local government, the NI Assembly and UK Parliament. CSSC representatives gave evidence to the previous Northern Ireland Affairs Committee as part of its inquiry into education funding and met with the Committee when they visited Northern Ireland as part of this process in January 2019.
Barry Mulholland appreciated the opportunity to discuss the issues facing education and the support being provided by the Controlled Schools' Support Council.
