Abbey exam success 2020

Once again this year Abbey Community College students have celebrated academic excellence on A Level results day 2020, with some outstanding individual performances. The smiling, happy faces of students, staff and parents reflected success across a wide variety of academic and vocational courses.

The Abbey family is hugely proud of all their Year 14 students and their achievements which is testament to their hard work and commitment, high quality teaching, and the support and encouragement of staff and parents. They thoroughly deserve their success and have certainly made the school motto ‘Believe, Achieve, Succeed’ a reality!

Abbey Community College is thrilled once again, that the number of students achieving 3+ A*-C grades has increased this year, out-performing the Northern Ireland average for similar schools. They are extremely proud of the many other students who achieved their personal best, many exceeding their expectations and opening doors to new opportunities.

Abbey Community College celebrates everyone’s achievement; staff and students have worked hard together, been supported by parents and all enjoy the rewards of success.

Mrs Quinn, Principal, staff and Governors acknowledge the significant contribution that those who are leaving have made to the school community and wish them continued success in education or the world of work. They are excellent role models for future generations of young people at Abbey Community College.
