  1. Knockevin Special School recognised by cyber experts for first-rate teaching

    Knockevin has been recognised by the Cyber Security Centre as a bronze CyberFirst School and is the first ever Special School to gain this status.

    The NI Cyber Security Centre is working with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) to encourage schools in Northern Ireland to apply to the CyberFirst Schools accreditation programme by 18 June 2021.

    Once again Limavady High School celebrate fundraising success, this time Year 11A1 raising £1,000 for Marie Curie by walking 10,000 steps a day.

    Craigavon Senior High School Principal, Ruth Harkness welcomed First Minister, Mrs Arlene Foster MLA, to view a special exhibition of favourite memories and Northern Ireland locations designed by pupils as part of their centenary celebrations.

  9. Minister recognises Roddensvale School’s achievement of the Attachment and Trauma Sensitive School, Silver Award.

    Education Minister, Mr Peter Weir, MLA was in attendance at a special event on Wednesday 26 May in recognition of the achievement by Roddensvale School in becoming the first school in NI to be awarded a Silver Attachment and Trauma Sensitive School Award.
