The Department of Education is consulting on proposals to establish a new organisation to support controlled schools. This is the most significant and critical opportunity in decades to shape how controlled schools are managed and supported.
Everyone with an interest in controlled schools, including principals, teachers, governors, parents, young people and the wider community are encouraged to share their views.
CSSC has been working towards this moment since its inception in 2016 and fully endorses the Taskforce recommendations. We welcome this opportunity to take part in the consultation on those recommendations and encourage all those connected with controlled schools to take this important opportunity to shape the future of support for the sector.
