Michael Carville has been a controlled school Principal since 2014. Prior to that he worked in four schools in England and Northern Ireland, starting out as a teacher of Physics. He has been Chair of the Association of Controlled Grammar School Heads, is an Associate Assessor with ETI and is the current Chair of SEAG.
