Team Building 2026 2027
Team Building examines the impact of an effective team in fostering a positive school ethos. It explores the key qualities, values, and behaviours that contribute to successful teamwork, alongside reflections on the role each individual plays in ensuring the team functions effectively and drives continuous school improvement.
The session explores the importance of kindness, compassion, and connection, encouraging participants to adopt a more intentional approach to teamwork. This supports the creation of an environment characterised by psychological safety, which, in turn, strengthens a shared vision. The opportunity for the school team to collectively establish a statement of intent, is provided to support individual commitments to the principles guiding their teamwork.
The objectives for this module are to:
- strengthen teamwork that supports a positive school ethos.
- clarify the behaviours and values that make teams effective.
- build compassionate, psychologically safe team relationships.
- agree a shared team statement of intent for collective improvement.
