Embedding Ethos 2026 2027

Embedding Ethos will allow staff to reflect on how: -

  • how they contribute to the school ethos on an individual basis and
  • how the the school’s core values contribute to the ethos and vision and
  • provide the opportunity to evaluate whole school implementation of the mission statement.

Prior to the session staff will reflect on the school ethos statement supported by questions which encourage them to consider how daily practice reflects the school’s ethos.

During the session staff will share their reflections. Feedback will also be received during the session from governors’ reflections on their contribution to school ethos, allowing a whole school perspective. There will be an opportunity to explore how values contribute to the school’s ethos and vision.
